Group A:
Finland v Armenia. If bankerbets are existing, this one is a home banker click here to bet.
Portugal v Kazakhstan. All the same as above, without any comment, bet Portugal to win.
Belgium v Poland. This will be a dogfight and hard to predict. Poland maybe going for the draw. Seems that UNDER 2.5 goals a good bet, Belgium all goalaverage is 1/game.
Group B, C:
No games.
Group D:
Republic of Ireland v San Marino. Well, Ireland is just one step ahead San Marino, but this is a must win game, whatever slim the chance remaining for Ireland to qualify, home win.
Cyprus v Germany. A victory for the German team would mean perfect record so far (4 wins) and they will go for it, not too much risk to predict and bet away win click here for Ballack & Co.
Group E:
Macedonia v Russia. The situation is very complex in this group, after Macedonia made draw in England, all the teams on 1-5 have chance to qualify ont he 1-2 places at the end. But neither Macedonia, nor Russia can afford to lose this game, Maybe the draw is beautiful with these great odds, and would make the situation more complex...
Israel v Croatia. Certainly the momentum is with Croatia, after the big victory at home aginst very weak England (and very weak coach of England), but Israel has not lost yet. Hard to predict, maybe many goals and OVER 2.5 goals with these big odds.
Group F, G:
No games.

Rules of Soccer

Playing soccer is easy; being good at soccer takes a bit more effort. To be competent on the sport, the only way is to practice and play.

Like basketball, soccer players that are on the game field have their own designated positions. In the game of soccer there are eleven designated soccer positions on each team in the playing field. A single soccer team on the playing field has one goalie or goalkeeper and ten outfielders to play a variety of defensive, attacking and midfield positions. Each of these soccer positions has their own role and area of operation and certain set of skills are required in each of these soccer positions.

Defensive Positions or Defenders
Defenders are the players that are behind the midfielders. The main responsibilities of players designated in these soccer positions are to provide defensive support to the goalie and prevent the opposing team from scoring. Defenders usually stay on their side of the field.
* Centerback ? the centerbacks? main responsibility is to stop the opposing team from scoring or more particularly the strikers and to get the ball out of the penalty area as much as possible.
* Sweeper ? sweepers are the adaptable type of centerbacks. They sweep the ball if the opponents manage to break through the defensive line. A sweeper must have excellent ball handling, ball control and ball passing abilities to counter any attacking moves that the opponent does.
* Fullback ? fullbacks are the players that prevent the ball from crossing or cutting back into the penalty area.

Midfielders
Midfielders are positioned midway between the strikers and defenders. Their primary responsibilities are to make sure that they have possession of the ball, take the ball from the opposing team?s defenders and pass it to the strikers. Being a midfielder is one of the most exhausting soccer positions because midfielders? duties are broad. They are either called back into defensive position or sometimes attack the opposing team along with the strikers.
* Defensive midfield ? duties of players with these soccer positions is to take the ball away from the opposing team?s attackers.
* Attacking midfield ? players with in these positions are responsible for creating scoring opportunities.

Strikers or Forward or Attackers
Players with these soccer positions are the ones nearest to the opposing team?s goal. Their main duty is to score goals. The other duty of players with these soccer positions is to set up goal for their team mates. Most well known soccer players are strikers because strikers tend to score more than any of their team mates.

22 players and 11 members per team play soccer. Positions can be variable depending on the soccer formation and strategy employed, but usually a team roster includes a goalkeeper and a couple of defenders, midfielders and attackers.

Passing the Ball
Passing the ball is very easy, though the hardest part of passing accuracy. This is the starter player?s handicap. To do a standard rolling pass, you should kick the ball with the inside of your foot (instep and toe part). Your kick should hit the lateral part of the ball for it to travel in a roll. Kicking with the inside part of the foot also allows accuracy, wherein the arch is used to provide the ball direction. Ok, try it. Kick the ball with modest force with the arch providing direction.

Intermediate Passing and Shooting
The link also featured how to do a high pass. Notice how his foot made contact with the ball. For the ball to fly, the bottom of the ball should be hit while kicking. And to provide direction, the inside part (the toe part) of your foot should be the main contact of the bottom (of the ball)
Shooting the ball is the same as passing by a high ball. Even a rolling pass is considered shooting if it is used to score a goal. So now you see the importance of passing.

Playing soccer is easy; being good at soccer takes a bit more effort. To be competent on the sport, the only way is to practice and play. To be better, yet more practice and playing. But to be the best, again practice and play.

Public Relations for Soccer Teams

Public relations for professional and amateur soccer teams at the higher level is not is easy as it might seem. The sports channels are filled with baseball, basketball, football and other popular sports. Even a golf tournament will take priority in the time slot on a major sports news network. Public relations for soccer teams in the United States of America is a lot different than it might be in other countries were soccer is the most popular sport and where football (our type), basketball and baseball are somewhat nonexistent.

Public relations for a soccer team should include community goodwill, autograph signing and promotion of the game of soccer itself. It is important to have constant communication with all major media outlets and promote the soccer players as the epitome of sportsmen with good sportsmanship, no drugs and good old family values. Luckily for soccer teams this is not too difficult because most all the soccer players are dedicated athletes and are not taking steroids.

This does not mean that public relations for soccer teams is easy, as it is hardly easy. However, public relations for professional and amateur soccer teams is not utterly impossible if the publicity team and public-relations specialists understand how things work. Promoting the individual players as superstars will go a long way to promoting the game of soccer and the professional team itself. It also brings more people to watch the games and uplifts the game of soccer in the United States. Please consider all this in 2006.

Soccer Positions

As with basketball, soccer is a game with players who perform a specific role. A team is comprised of eleven positions. There is one goalkeeper or goalie, and ten others who have to defend attack or take up midfield positions. Each role has a specific set of skills and a specific area to deal with.

Goalie or Goalkeeper

It is the goalie?s who has to prevent the opponents from scoring a goal. This person is the only one who can touch the ball with their hands and they can only move within a certain area of the field.

Defenders or Defensive Positions

These positions help the goalie prevent opponents from scoring a goal. Like the goalie, they are restricted to a certain area of the field.

*Centerback-the centerbacks try to stop the opponents particularly the strikers of the opposing team from scoring. They try to keep to ball out of the penalty areas.

*Sweepers- sweepers go after anyone from the opposing team who breaks through the defense line. A sweeper should be able to control the ball and pass it well and counter any moves that the attacking team brings.

*Fullback- These players try to prevent the ball from entering the penalty areas

Midfielders

These players are located between the strikers and the defenders. They try to get the ball from the defenders on the opposing team and pass it to their strikers. This is a position that requires a lot of energy because they have to keep an eye on many things at once. They can be switched from a defensive stance to attacking pose at any time during the game.

*Defensive midfield- the purpose of this role is to get the ball from the attackers on the opposing team

*Attack midfield- these players must try to open avenues for their team to score goals

Strikers or Attackers or Forward

These team members are located close to the opposing team?s goal. They are the ones who score goals. Another role they play is to try and help others on their team score a goal. Most familiar soccer players are found in this position because they score the most goals.

Just Play Beach Soccer

One friend of mine asked me recently why all men are crazy about playing football or what is known in United States as soccer. I am sick of explaining things that you can only understand based on personal experience. But although I managed to provide her with a luminous answer, she came back stating yet another question. "Is it different to play soccer on the grass than to play it on the beach?" That was a good one. "Of course it is different," I replied. Beach soccer, as you can tell by its name, is a sport played on the beaches; preferably during spring or summer time. Although it has been played informally for decades, it was given its official name and rules only recently and specifically in 1992. Since then it managed to become a rather popular sport and I believe that if you really want to learn something about soccer you should better start playing it on the beach.

Playing soccer on the beach is considered by many fans as the paradise of the apprentice. The soft-sand playing surface can correct some usual mistakes for a beginner, as the ball often stacks on it. Actually, the element of sand does only facilitate the efforts of new players, but it is considered a heavy obstacle even for those experienced ones that wish to show off their abilities. Plus the compact pitch -measuring 28 x 37 meters if there is an official beach soccer facility- is by far smaller than the grass field and makes scoring easier, even for players who decide to try it for the first time.

A great advantage of beach soccer is the fact that one needs no special equipment to play it. An adequate size ball and the sand of the beach are more than enough for one to begin exploring this game's unique character. Even when no organized facility on the beach exists, those interested to play beach soccer need only two canes to symbolize the area of a goalpost. Canes or just a pile of clothes are preferable in comparison to heavy stones or even huge blocks of rocks, which can be very dangerous for feet injuries, as shoes are not allowed in this game. Thus, if you are on a sandy beach, it is a sunny day, and you have nine friends willing to join you, you can start playing beach soccer. When you do experience it, let me know if you liked it. Most importantly, let your girlfriend know!

When I finished my lecture about beach soccer my friend seemed excited. "I will play it every single weekend," she said. But before you ask yourselves how much time should you invest in practicing this sport, before you can consider yourselves good soccer players, try playing it for awhile. Since you cannot play beach soccer all year around, unless you move to California or Florida every time you have a beach soccer need, you have to exercise your soccer playing abilities on the actual lawn ground. Believe me when I tell you that it is not that easy there too!

Betting Situation: Soccer Match-fixings in Serie A in the Shadow

-> Betting Highlights on tricky bets of the day and the valuebets on Sunday 14 of May. Released by sportbetting guru ecobika.

Weekend Soccer Gambling Bonanza Part 2. The target: your money. The killers: the match-fixing gamefixings players from Germany to Italy and Turkey. It is a shame, but I repeat myself: do not be fool today. Only a few games is relevant, the others only played somehow. Maybe the matchup of the day is Brentford v Swansea in League One Playoff . The first leg ended 1-1 in Swansea -> Brentford to win, or a safer bet: -> Brentford to qualify. Are you suprised that the matchup of the day is in England lower league? Look at the other games, Italy Serie A is loud about matchfixing gamefixing scandals, with referees, players involved. In the last season -> 29 out of 38 games of Juventus was matchfixing - wrote the Italian media. And what is the menu in the last round in this year? Juventus only need a point in Reggina for the Scudetto. Milan's goaldifference is much better and no ,,pareggio" in this season, so the only option for Milan: to beat Roma and hoping Reggina to beat Juve. No, this is impossible. -> Milan v Roma 2 AH 0:0. This bet is winner, if Roma wins, moneyback on draw. Do not forget: if Roma wins, and Fiorentina only draw in Verona against Chievo, Roma jumps to the Champions League wagoon, not Fiorentina on the 4th spot!

Germany Bundesliga2 is about big excitement. 4 teams are involved in the fight for the 3rd place, which means Bundesliga1, but only will qualify. And 2 of the 4 are playing against each other: Freiburg v F?rth. Ecobika's idea: -> Freiburg to win, but if Cottbus wins v 1860 M?nich, Cottbus is promoted, regardless what happens with the fourth team involved, Karlsruhe. -> Cottbus and very inform Karlsruhe (v Paderborn) to win. A few idea: -> just look at this hot picks results.

Only the last round decides the champion in Turkey! -> Galatasaray or Fenerbahce?. I do not know. An easy looking bankerbet: Portugal Cup final, Porto v Setubal -> Porto to win.

-> European Basketball betting. Only the regular season second place and 8th place (yet playoff) on stake in Spain ACB league. Check gamebookers' Barcelona v Tau -> Barcelona to win and overtake Tau. Unicaja is already champion of regular season, whatever it plays vs Juventud! Semifinals (Halbfinale) in Basketball Bundesliga, the first games, -> Alba Berlin and Bamberg to win.

Tennis betting, and as generally, ecobika's advice: do -> bet tennis, Rome ATP -> Federer to win the final. Nadal is one of the very few players, who can win against Fedex!

-> The MLB baseball season started a few weeks ago and most of the MLB moneylines are good bets, if you play simple the favorites with gamebookers' odds! Or do the homework on -> under/overs yourself! And ecobika will present you a winner baseball formula, keep an eye there well below article!

Last but not least, the goldmine:AFL Australian Football League already 6th round. Saturday AFL games not easy to predict, but West Coast was really easy banker at home. An other AFL banker -> Kangaross v Adelaide Crows, Crows to win. Wake up early or bet late, starts 07.10 CET.

However, the ball is round, good luck with your soccer picks. Bet with confidence, bet with gamebookers ecobika do the same. -> Betting Highlights on tricky bets of the day and the valuebets on Sunday 14 of May. Released by sportbetting guru ecobika

Soccer betting - An Introduction

Betting and gambling through sports has become a major concern for our society today. It has become an issue of serious concern for the lawmakers on how to monitor and curtail unauthorized betting through sports. Lawmakers have been thus penned down to make tough new measures to crack down on corruption in sports related betting. Bets are placed on individual player?s performances, the winning team, scores in the game, etc.

Technology aids available
Today you can bet on the Internet, at casinos, through national lottery and also on cell phones. Growth of Internet betting exchanges has made sports more vulnerable to fraud and match fixing. Now betting is done with the help of GPRS technology, which is a more faster and reliable way for account holders to place their bets. Users are charged for the volume of data rather than the time spent using the service. But the police are now resorting to the use of electronic surveillance techniques to track down the alleged racket.

Advantages over other sports
Precisely betting on a football game has been an extremely popular form of winning big money for years, producing far better prize money amounts for relatively low stake money. Today a punt on the football pools or spot the ball for a quid could win you thousands upon thousands. A bet on a horse cannot produce the same odds. This is perhaps a clue to the nature of betting on a football. Complete change in the lifestyle for a stake that he can afford to loose and demand for no work in return is what allures an aspiring punter to football betting. This is the lure for many working class punters, both male and female regardless of their taste for football. Football betting is the most appropriate technique to make money for those who want to skip the hurdles and mushroom their profits without taking any pains.

Thus the lawmakers have called for various sports governing bodies to have a say in the type of bets offered to punters and to make bookmakers set up ?audit-trails?, something the new betting exchanges already do, to allow suspicious betting patterns to be traced. Lawmakers have also called for the governing bodies of various sports to devise common standards on who may bet on their sport, types of bets that can be placed on the concerned sport and what the other logistics for placing a bet on their sport should be.
